The inspiration source for Mouchoir Monogram is an ornament framed letterstyle from a vintage embroidery publication. It was originally intended to adorn handkerchiefs, so it is aptly named “Mouchoir”, or handkerchief in French. Many monogram designs from the early 1900s seem to fall into a two letter format which is either adorned or interwoven with framing styles.
Mouchoir Monogram is only capable of two letter monograms due to its unique design. It was originally designed to have outlined initials, but solid and outline versions have been created for more versatility and appeal.
Mouchoir Monogram comes complete with both Pro and Standard format fonts. For those with programs that can take advantage of OpenType features, the Pro fonts are for you, but for others without the ability to use OpenType features, we've created separate fonts that make up the styles contained in the Pro font. PDF guidebooks for both the MFC Mouchoir Monogram Pro and Standard fonts are included in the font package.
Each purchase grants a license for 250 impressions (or individual products) to be created and sold using MFC Mouchoir Monogram. Once you have exhausted this limit, or if you need a higher impressions license to start with, simply send us a message for a custom extended license based on your needs.
